There exist a misconception about our National Language or Official Language. It is not true that Hindi is the only #NationalLanguage.
Hindi is Official Language of the Indian Republic along with English. And there are 21 National Languages for Indian Union/Republic not One as is believed by many.
Not only Hindi but all including Dogri, Assamise, Telugu, Urdu, Sanskrit and what not, all most all the languages which every State people speak are included in the list of National languages.
It is interesting to note that a language which competed to become Official language in the place of Hindi was not Telugu or Bengali but Hindustani.
Hindustani was the language used by Ruling elite in those days which is a mixture of Urdu, Persian and #Kadiboli Hindi.
Hindi became Our Official Language by one Vote mazority against Hidustani.
